National Eager Owl Scholarship

Alamo Drafthouse’s Eager Owl Scholarship, in memory of Katie Eager, provides funds for Alamo staff members or their dependents to pursue higher education. At least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded for the Fall Semester. Applications are reviewed and winners are selected by a committee of Alamo staff members and Katie’s family. The funds are administered by the Austin Community Foundation.

Any applicants employed in the following Alamo Drafthouse Cinema markets are eligible to apply. Employees must be in good standing for at least one year at the time of application:

Denver Metro
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Kansas City
New York
San Antonio
New Braunfels
Rolling Roadshow

Recipient must remain employed at ADC while funds are being used. If the recipient leaves the company before all funds are used, the balance will be forfeited.

Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited institution offering post-secondary education or a specialized training program.
